  • What is Card Companion?

    The Card Companion is a website for Qantas Points Earning Credit Card members to keep track of points, get a snapshot of their card benefits, maximise their earn and get offers. There will be more features that we will launch in time.

  • What is the benefit of linking my Qantas Points Earning credit card to the Card Companion?

    By linking your Qantas Points Earning credit card, you will be able to keep track of points, get a snapshot of your card benefits, maximise your Qantas Points earn and receive offers.

  • Do I need to link my Qantas Points Earning credit card to use Card Companion?

    Yes members need to log in to their Qantas Frequent Flyer account using their Qantas Frequent Flyer details and select & link their Qantas Points Earning credit cards to access the Card Companion tool.

  • How do I find the Card Companion website in the future?

    Please bookmark/favourite the website cardcompanion.qantas.com on your browser. In iOS devices using Safari or in Android devices using Chrome, look for the option to "Add to Home Screen".

  • How will Qantas use my credit card details (card number, PIN, CCV)?

    Qantas will not ask you for your credit card number, PIN or CCV and do not hold this information.

  • How is my personal information stored?

    Your personal information is being handled in accordance with Qantas' privacy policy and the Qantas Frequent Flyer Program Terms and Conditions.

  • What is the security of the website?

    Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encrypts the information you send through this website.

Linking your card

  • How do I know if I have a Qantas Points Earning Credit Card?

    You have a Qantas Points earning credit card if you earn Qantas points on your credit card spend. For most cards, one way is to check if your credit card displays the Qantas Frequent Flyer logo, or alternatively please contact your credit card issuer if you are unsure about what credit card rewards program you are a part of.

  • Why isn't my Qantas Points earning Credit Card appearing in Card Companion?

    If your card is not on Card Companion, then the card or card issuer is not supported at this time.

  • I can't link my card issuer's credit card

    If your card is not on Card Companion, then the card or card issuer is not supported at this time. Please note, the Card Companion is only for Qantas Points earning credit cards, and not other credit cards where you do not directly earn Qantas Points.

  • Can I link more than three credit cards?

    No, at this time you are only able to link up to 3 Qantas Points Earning Credit Cards in Card Companion.

  • How do I unlink or edit the cards that I have linked?

    To add new cards or remove cards you've linked, go to “Your cards” page, and click the “Add/Remove Cards” button.

  • The card that I have linked shows features and information that are incorrect

    Please check that you have linked the correct credit card by comparing your physical credit card to the one shown on the Card Companion. The features and information about the credit card benefits are provided by the card issuer and there may be differences depending on your personal circumstances. Please contact your credit card issuer to confirm your credit card features and benefits if unsure.

Points History

  • Why does my bank statement have a different points balance to what is shown to me in Card Companion?

    There may be a discrepancy between the points balance shown in the Card Companion and the points shown on your credit card issuer’s statement for that month. This may be due to delays in data updates coming from the card issuer which can occur from time to time.

  • There are points missing from my points earn graph?

    The Card Companion's graph of monthly earn over the last 6 or 12 months only shows your credit card points earned and does not show any bonus points acquired from bonus offers or card sign up or points earned from other ways across Qantas. The total points you earned in the last month is the same information as what's showing in your My Account Activity Statement.

  • I have linked the correct card, but the Card Companion is showing incorrect earn rates / features

    In certain circumstances your card product terms and conditions may differ from what is shown. If you have further questions please consult your card issuer.

  • The picture of the card I have linked has a different name and card number to me

    The picture shown is for demonstration purposes only.
